Joseph Romanoff (aka JOJO) with the free spirit for all eternity and undefeated Mental Health Knight with Shining Armour is The Vice President of The Lebanon NAACP Branch 26AA. He  represent for those that are treated as outcasts and have been in a place of rejection.

JOJO was born and raised in🗽Brooklyn, New York and also raised in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

He is a proud 🇺🇸 American with the grace of 🇵🇭 Filipino blood by his mother, Fe Romanoff, and 🇷🇺 The Russian with ✡️ Jewish Heritage by his late-father, Ara Romanoff.

JOJO is a 🪷 Nichiren Buddhist ( ❤️  NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO ❤️ ) and also a proud representative of the 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ+ Community.

Aside from being a ZUMBA® Fitness Instructor He is a performer and dancer, trained at Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, Peridance and Steps on Broadway, all in The Big Apple (NYC). He is also black belt in Tae Kwon Do and alumni from Kim Studio /Family Karate, Lebanon, PA.

In 1999, he graduated from Manhattan Comprehensive Night & Day High School and attended Marymount Manhattan College as a Humanities Major.

JOJO got his intro to human rights in his Leadership Class by the legendary Marcia McBroom of The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and he was involved with several human rights activist organization such as The City Kids Foundation (Where he was introduced by NAACP Image Award- Winner and Actor Malik Yoba), Habitat for Humanity, Lifebeat and the Interfaith Center of New York where he traveled to The "1999 Parliament of World Religions," event in The Good Hope Center of Cape Town, South Africa and got to Nelson Mandela LIVE!

He also orated  at the "Movement For Non-Violence" event - A Tribute to Martin Luther King Jr., at The United Nations, where he attended his first Seder.

JOJO worked with Dance legend Mariah Torress of M.T.E.A.F. (The Maria Torres Emerging Artists Foundation) as both a  dance instructor and an anti-bullying activist in Harlem, NYC.

Aside from being a ZUMBA® Fitness Instructor a lot of people know him for, he is also an entertainer. JOJO carried several credentials in film, tv, and.stage such as Comedy Central's Dave Chapelle Show, Strangers With Candy, MTV'S Direct Effects (DFX), Vogue Evolution, Priyanka Chopra, Gina G, The Calling, Ja Rule, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Taborah, opening up for Michael MacDonald, Davey Jones from The Monkees, Michael Bolton, Tweet, Monifah, Lil'Mo, Cyndi Lauper, Taylor Dayne and more.

Several times his life as a humanitarian and a performance artist crossed paths and there would indulge in several collaborations.

Knowing that life is so short, he wants to make sure he contributed to the dignity of human welfare and inspired self-love, to manifest that love with hope and light for  the entire 🌎.
